Grateful for the Grads!!!
Los Al Grad Night ROCKS!!! It's one of the few High Schools that is parent ran to keep the Grads safe and having run. After retirement from the Haunted House industry it was a perfect fit to take on the Entrance set up. It's been years of hard work that always follows with Grads that are so Grateful!!! Now, I'm getting the Grads back to help with the set up. How cool is that? It's that time again to start thinking and doing what it takes to welcome the new class of 2011 into Grad Night with a bang!!!

I'm grateful to be headed down an additional business path that really excites me!
As many of you know, I need to invent the wheel from time to time, go down the seldom traveled path. I don't fear the unknown as much as the boredom of the present. This is just the beginning, but I am truly grateful to be headed in a new direction. Are you ready for the Future? Let me know!!!

Grateful to know there is an excellent alternative to the Emergency Room!
http://sealbeachfamilymedicalgroup.com/
When is the last time, you or someone you love injured themselves and you dreaded the thought of going to the hospital? That happened to me recently. I knew I needed a few stitches and even went to Los Al emergency, which was a complete zoo. Not working for me, at all! I remembered my mom had gone to Seal Beach Urgent Care and liked it. Not only did I like it, I was in and out of there with 5 beautiful stitches in less than 1/2 an hour. The bill was $132, the cost of services rendered, not the ability to pay method of me paying for uninsured folks too. A+ all the way around!!!

I'm grateful that the clocks change this weekend!
I really love that extra day light at the end of each day. It's time to get outside after work and putter in the yard, fire up the Weber Kettle and grill some steaks over real coals or watch a beautiful sunset! This is a change that I am very grateful for!

My Chosen Family Rocks!
I had no idea how great an extended family, a chosen family could be! Jill, Ashley and Ryan Stewart are wonderful and I am so grateful to be part of their lives. They are doing very well, loving and accepting each other and those around them. I am happy to be a block away and able to help where I can. What an awesome chosen family!

I am Grateful for my wife Alyson and Picasa!
As every day goes by, I become more grateful of my loving wife, Alyson. No doubt, marrying her was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Recently I saw that Picasa added a new feature called 'Create Face Movie'. Picasa will help you identify faces in your photos and put them into folders, then you can create a movie that keeps their face in the middle and it dissolves to the next photo. Click on the link to see how cool this is!!! If you don't have Picasa you should, it's free and the best at managing your photos.
Cheers, JZ

Kelli and Eddie are headed home for the Holidays!
I am so grateful that Kelli and Eddie are headed home really soon. I am even more grateful that this has been a great semester for both of them. Kelli, now a sophomore at USD is excelling at her classwork, socially as a Kappa Kappa Gama and has a job working for the administration on campus. Way to go Kelli!!! Eddie is just ending his first semester at Berklee College of Music in Boston. The verdict is in and Eddie loves the whole gig! The unique music college environment, playing his horn, learning to sing and the academic parts as well. I can't wait to listen to you play that horn! Boston is a ways away but we've stayed in touch in so many ways and I think this California kid will make it through the wind and cold. Two kids happy in college that's priceless!!! I love you both so much and can't wait to give you big hugs and lots of them. JZ
